Spectrum's debut release, "Cross Point", marks an important milestone for their artistic and creative biography – and that is the logical, yet challenging step to writing original music. 7 out of the 9 tracks of the album were written and arranged by members of the group, while the other 2 are original arrangements based on folklore motives. All of the tracks are performed a cappella, with gentle vocal or body percussion added to the final sound. One of the original songs is in English. Combining freshly written pop and funky tunes with the group's love for traditional Bulgarian music gives "Cross Point" a distinctive flavour. This grants Spectrum a way to present their original ideas while pleasing the listeners' already established taste for groovy rhythms and rich vocal harmony, marking the "crosspoint" between the members' personal inspirations and musical backgrounds.
